Taking advantage of the experience acquired with previous editions as well as the fact that the Generalitat de Catalunya recognized the Research Group on: The United Nations and the European Union facing current challenges and threats: reform of the global governance system, security, cooperation and human rights as a consolidated group, and that in 2012 the European Commission awarded a Center of 'Excellence Jean Monnet to a team led by Dr. Antoni Blanc, the objectives of these Conferences will be to analyze the actions of the United Nations and the European Union, in particular, in the field of the fight against climate change.
